Galaxian Brown

If politics was a game of Galaxian (PBUH) Gordon Brown has gone from this to this in a record-breaking 14 months.

The endgame is near and approaches fast, old cock.
Sound needs to be on. One really should be a student of this excellent game (as the Tuscan was) to really appreciate this.

Space Invaders!

Our Gals used to like a rocket shaped iced lolly called a 'Zoom'.

Now, just like McBruin; costing quite a bit, very cold to begin with, never improving, too much promise of good times but ending up a dreadful mess, and eventually dripping everywhere, and with a final legacy of bad teeth, and in his case, nails...

Next week Folks - the Tony Blair 'Wafer - thin'...

scobs, you're right, though technically it was a successor to Invaders, what woudl happen if they'd been put on methedrine. Was something of a local (Red'ill) champ of this, I am ashamed to say. The linked sounds are very evocative for someone of my age.

O/T - did you hang on to the Psaier? The Telegraph is reporting very healthy sales, so it doesn't really matter whether he was real artist or a very successful fake.

I like the idea of a scammer realizing early on that a fake Warhol disciple was the perfect illustration of what Warhol was all about. Andy would have approved.

If Andy created Psaier, even as a hoax, then it isn't a fake - it's a real Warhol. It is arguably worth less if it is a fake hoax (an interpolation by Warhol) than a real hoax (an interpolation by somebody else).

If Psaier was real artist, in the factory as claimed, and not a fake by either Warhol or somebody else, then he's a mid-range pop artist.

Can't see you losing on any of these outcomes - it is only a question of which is the biggest win. My bet: an interpolation not by Warhol is the most valuable, as that is the best illustration of the paradox.

the problem with space invaders was it continued the same basic game throughout...try to shoot the politicians as they swirl above you disguised as aliens...as you advance, they just keep coming in larger numbers and go in faster swirls...kind of like how they talk in circles, eh? the longer they are around the wider the circle and the faster they can spin it...

woar - yes indeed, I will marry the frame back to the painting shortly: it is an oil not a print and dedicated to Holly Woodlawn (worth a google), so all very intriguing. Will do a better pic and post on it shortly.

Daisy - though politicians need to be born bred (for the present at least) so there is hope.
